I have wore glasses since I was nine. I still remember that I was examined by eye chart with wearing stupid-looking horn-frame glasses. Whenever I was asked what a man pointed out on the eye chart, I frowned to see it more clearly. Since then, my eye sight has gotten worse and worse, never recover (smile).

But, situation might be different. If this sort of eye chart comes out little bit earlier. I would have the better eye sight. - kidding (smile)

Korea might be the place where starbucks coffee is sold the most expensive. Do they add something special in it for the better flavour in Korea?. Unlikely(smile). Although their ludicrous pricing, even in today, many people in Korea stand up in the line for waiting for their order.

Yeah, here is another, which you only find in starbucks Korea. you can find price for size grande on menu, and tall size, too, but not for short size. Where is it? At any moment, it has disappeared on it. Insteads, a sentence with tiny tiny font size on it reads "when it comes to hot beverage, you can order short size." - quite sneaky marketing strategy, huh? As howard schultz said, Is that one of culture they try to sell?

Little Modification To Random Background Image Hack

Well, it's not a big change, but I just post this by thinking that there might be someone who need this. Okay, I do little modification to random background image hack. In the earlier version, random selection should be considered within the index ranged from one to number of images. But, I realise that this limitation could be uncomfortable in the case that you just need to have images are randomly opted just from the newly added images. In short, what I actually do is random selection could be done in the range starting from not one, but cerain index.

At first, go to the "Dashbord -> Layout -> Edit HTML", and check "Expand Widget Templates". Don't forget to backup your template(smile). Then, find javascript function named "loadSiteTitleBackground". A little bit above of it, you can find codes given as below:

In this section, add new parametre named to "begPicId". This indicates that the begining index of the image, which random selection is considered. So, you just write number instead of START_PIC_INDEX.

At next, go to the function named "loadSiteTitleBackground". In body in it, you can find code like this.

ranPicId = Math.random() * numPic + 1;

...

in this code, replace number "1" to "begPicId" just given as below:

ranPicId = Math.random() * numPic + begPicId;

...

Then, test whether it works fine(smile).

Rememble Launched

There are already several web-based photo organising programs such as flickr, picasa web album, and so on. Maybe, those of two most got fame in public. That's why two major search engine companies (i.e yahoo and google) bought them, respectively.

Here is another. Rememble has offically launched getting out of its beta test. Strictly speaking, it is hard to say that it is web-based photo organiser, and beyond it, it doesn't supports photos but it does also other multimedia files such as audio clips, and text. Well, at first, it caught my eyes with well organised UI, and the most salient point is that users can align all events in line with timeline. Does it seem to be intresting? Try it, it's free(smile).

Recently, many other companies might have also thought the importance of design once again. That's why LG goes in with prada, and samsung does with bang & olufsen. - negatively speaking, they might use partners reputation to gain more attention from the customers.

Since launching their first joint product named to "serene", samsung and bang & olufsen officially launched their second one named "serenata music phone". Apparently, its apperance is quite distintive. It is exactly something like what we've known as bang & olufsen - bizzare shape (smile). Anyway, I think that it's not for ordinary people. Why? bang & olufsen is famous for high pricing. I guess, so might this ...(smile)

According to BetaNews, there's going to be a Zune Event in Redmond tomorrow to launch the next-generation Zune. Bill Gates and J Allard are supposedly attending, but supposedly it's just an announcement, with the players only being available in November. iPod Touch Launched In Korea

ipod new line-up was officially introduced in Korea, 18. Sep. As other countries did, the most spotlight focused on ipod touch. Well, as steve jobs said, no one can deny that it's a revolutionary product, but they might miss minor functionalities pursuing "REVOLTIONARY". According to apple Korea, ipod touch doesn't support Korean keyboard input. In asia, only Japense is supported. As for the question that they're going to support it in the near future, they gave us a wonderful answer. - THEY DON'T KNOW.

In addition, look at the demo video clip shooted in the launching show by apple Korea. You can see that it is sometimes broken. one of apple Korea staffs seems to be very perplexed. Anyway, as mentioned in the article, which pointed out "negative black effect", video codec still seems to have problems. Do you consider to buy it? Here is my suggestion. If you live in the outside of U.S, wait till it's stable.

It's already well known to some mania. Mahalo is quite intresting search engine. At first, when you're on the front page, the line on the bottom attracts eyes, which says that "Mahalo is the world's first human-powered search engine". As referred, it's a sort of wiki style search engine.

Well, as the first look, it features with well-organised UI. In the case of search results, I haven't found yet what outstanding points of mahalo is. - I only tested it with several queries to see how it works(smile). If you want to know the advantage of it, try mahalo follow, which compare the results, one from mahalo and the alternative from the other search engine. Anyway, as google has ran alone in the field of search engine, it is desired that this kind of followers has emerged on the market.

There might be no other countries, which compete with Korea in that people heavily depend on digital media and gadgets. In this country, you can easily find people, who watched TV on subways and buses, who talked with their friends by watching them on the screen of phones. To Be A Good Father I

It was really hard to open my eyelids. It felt like more heavier than ever. Drink that I had had last night gave me a sort of hangover. - OMG, though I was not going to drink a lot, I was not sure how long it would be last (smile). Who dared to wake me up? It was weekends. I had the right to have more sleep, but I should get up for avoiding the harsh wake-up of daniel. - sometimes, he stood on my abdomen, and jump on it to make me get up(smile).

Yeah, sunnie hated that I became a couch potato on weekends. Instead, she wanted me to play with daniel, helped her with house works, and water indoor plants. Well, but, I often wanted to do what she didn't like(smile). Maybe, so did other fathers. I believed so (smile).

S/W, that Measures How Great Your Smile Is

It seems, more or less, to be useless, but, on the other side, to be quite a brilliant idea (smile). Japanese company, omron introduced s/w, which measure your smile on the range from 0(%) to 100(%). As guessed, If I try this s/w, my smile might get a low mark. - my friends told me that I seem like frowning, though I made big smile. (so sad ...)

The software measures' how much a subject is smiling and outputs a 'smile factor' on a scale of 0 to 100% 3D face mapping technology ensures accurate smile detection and measurement even if the subject is not looking directly at the camera, something which other technologies on the market have not always been able to do, and which opens up avenues for applications in mobile devices.

At last, apple released their new ipod line-up. Unlike to the first emerging of iphones, at this time, some leaks are proven to be real (smile). - you might have seen some pics of the fatty ipod nano and its UI on the web.

iPod shuffle, fatty-style ipod nano, simplified iphone (a.k.a ipod touch), and classic ipod. You remember jotspot, which is a wiki service acquired by google about a year ago. News say that it has been on the merging process to be a part of google application, and it's going to be ready for launch. Honestly, for me, I don't know exactly how the service is, either except that it's a sort of wiki service. Currently, trial access is also impossible. They seems like not allowing new users temporarily for merging issue. Anyway, it's worthy keeping eyes on it ...

As of yesterday, JotSpot is a Google Apps service code name, and its help and support pages moved to Google earlier this spring. Google Apps users with a hosted domain will also notice the logo for Google Wiki. While this service isn’t yet activated, it indicates that Jotspot is nearly fully integrated with Google Apps. Oneday, I thought that it would be nice that header background images are changed whenever I open it. Actually, blogspot already supports UI for setting a background image(Dashbord -> Layout -> Header -> Edit). For the more info, refer to the page of phydeaux3.

Well, actually, this is my first hack. - Honestly, it's shameful to be called as "hack"(smile). As I already mentioned in the earlier post, I'm a real beginner to js, and I don't know whether it has already been tried by some other guys. I just want to apply what I've learned from the self-study for my site. If you have any advice on this, feel free to leave comments. It could be very helpful to me. Okay, here is the step-by-step procedure. Enjoy it!

Random Background Image for Blogger Header

STEP1: Prepare background images, which would have size to best fit for your header section. In my case, I use 1006 x 174 pixel. And, subsequently, name them as hdr01, hdr02, hdr03, and so on. In short, ascending order.

NOTICE: when it comes to digit fields, they must take two fields. So, in the case of numbers lower than 9, zero prefix is supposed to be padded.

STEP2: Upload your imgages prepared to google page creator. Of course, you might host your image to picasa web, but I still don't know how url is assigned to each image uploaded in picasa web. So, for a while, just use google page creator. If you upload your images, you can find them in the right corner as shown in the pic below.

STEP3: Go to the "Dashbord -> Layout -> Edit HTML", and check "Expand Widget Templates". Before starting it, BACK UP YOUR ORIGINAL TEMPLATE! if you don't, you might be trouble. Actually, I have been at the point of no return ignoring back-up when I install some others' hacks(smile).

STEP4: Find "id selector" related with the header in your HTML. - the one lies in between

If your id selector includes background properties, delete it. When it comes to other properties, LEAVE THEM AS THEY ARE. DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING except "background" !
STEP5: Find symbol "</head>". Then, copy and paste the code below right BEFORE "</head>".

STEP6: Find your id selector of header in the part, where it lies in between <body> and </body>. It can be easy to find with keyword, "header", as you did in the STEP4. Then, copy and paste the line coloured red just below your id selector.

STEP7:: Choose "SAVE TEMPLATE" on the corner of right bottom. Then, test whether your site shows different backgound image header. If it does, random background image for blogger header is successfully installed. Alternately, If it doesn't, there might be some mistakes. I recommend you to do it again after careful reading whole steps.

I love that place.

Backgound Colour And Float Image Issue In IE6

This is another css issue about "backgound color and float image". Okay, let me give you a example. This is a part of my css style, and for the better understanding, let me give you example.

In header section, it consist of two. In the body section, "blockquote" is supposed to lie in main wrapper named "entry". Look, when it comes to "blockquote", it has background colour (the part coloured red)

This is the css issue that I found. Although FF perfectly shows a float image lie in "bloackquote", float image doesn't show in it in IE6. Interestingly, If I delete colour property in blockquote, IE6 shows the float image. background colour might hide the float image in IE6. Is that another IE6 bug? Actually, I'm a beginner of css. Is there anybody helps me ?

Daniel Plays Pool

Finding A Solution

As mentioned the earlier post, my site has shown two problems, which could be considered as a sort of compatibility between web browsers, especially, IE6 and FF. I found a solution for one of these. By speaking in result, it's not a problem of the peekaboo post hack, but it's one of IE6 bugs, that is, "background image flickering". - looking for the solution on the web has made me know lots of IE6 bugs (smile). Personally, I didn't know that IE6 suffered from such a large rendering bugs!

A fix is easy. Just follow steps below:

1) choose "Template".
2) choose "Edit HTML".
3) find the peekaboo post js function named "checkFull"
4) copy and paste the following code just after "checkFull" and before "</script>"

Then, you'll be free from the phenomenon, which backgound images are gone when peekaboo post is extended in IE6. For the more info, refer to the following link.

Summer Vacation ...

As daniel grows up, he prefers outdoor activity to indoor activity. That means though I'm off, I can't hang around at home watching TV any more, so does sunnie (smile). So, she has planned a small trip around my summer vacation. A month ago, Whenever I come home, I've seen her sitting on the chair searching places where best fit for us on the web. I've never seen her pay attention to something recently - look good, sun!

The place where she finally opt is "Kotchi beach", where lies in the west coast of Korea. Well, in terms of distance, it's attractive - it's about three hours away from home. Except it, honestly, I hesitated to agree with her when she suggests me that place. I still have a sort of prejudice, which was formed by the past experience. The west coast hit me a series of description such as polluted by what comes from China, crowded, and so on. But, I couldn't help without accepting her suggestion. I knew well how she had planned this with enthusiasm (smile).

It didn't take a long time before I realised that I was wrong, she was right. it was so beautiful! By adding some exaggeration, I had never been to such a nice place. Additionally, the level of sea is shallow though tide is big. it was the right place for kids. daniel wouldn't come out of sea, he wanted stay there all day long (smile).

Another Compatible Problem Between IE6 and FF

Oh, it seems like testing my patience. I found other several problems while I tested my site with the both of IE6 and FF. In this case, FF is okay to work, but IE6 shows something strange, which are explained more in detail below:

weather widget: I found the very nifty weather widget supplied by 'labpixies'. They've supplied their widget in terms of google webpage widget. Well, personally, that version didn't seem to be attractive due to google's widget wrapper. Luckily, I knew that they had also supplied their weather widget not putting through google widget. Okay, this is my version (smile). But, here is the problem. When I load my site with IE6, it pop out a sort of the js error, which read "a._IFPC is null or is not object, URL:http://www.google.com/ig/ifc_relay". I'm definitely sure that it's related with weather widget by knowing that it runs without this error when I pull out this widget. I would ask them.
peekaboo post widget: this is a hack from ramani, which makes each post extendable. Actually, as the weather widget does, it looks okay in FF, but doesn't in IE6. The problem is that pics, actually a sort of icons, are not shown where are in the extened part of the post.

Humm, it's too tough than I've exptected. Is there anybody helps me ?

Remaster Layout !

As phydeaux mentioned in his comment for me, I've had some issues on my blogger layout. - that is, it was looked different in line with a type of browser. At least, it was surely between IE6 and FF. So, I decided to increase the compatibility of it (painful work).

Basically, between IE6 and FF, there exists difference in layout engine, so-called 'trident' and 'gecko'. So, this makes what you see on the screen though you apply same css. Interestingly, I also realised that, in series of IE, they didn't seem to interpret a certain kind of attribute such as 'auto' in position style. That's why phydeaux's label cloud looked different in my layout. - in IE6, it's indent rightward, though it was looked okay in FF.

Though there are still left to say, I hope to save it for the next time. Anywway, I've done, of course, there left some minor issue (smile). It looked much better.- HAPPY

How long haven't I be off ? I'm back. Well, personally, this has been a quite tough time to endure. Discrepancy between realities and idealities, newly finding self-consciousness, and so on. A sort of things has strongly stopped me from getting out of this feeling of the looser.

Amazon Gets Into DRM-free Digital Music Store

News said amazon.com will start drm-free online music store. Yeah, as you know, apple already does it, but at the status where no salient competitors emerge in the market, this news could be quite nice news to customers. - the more competition, better service (smile).

Speech recognition, as a one of favour items in the s.f movies, people in the future would take it for granted. But, how's its status, now? Unfortunately, it's still far from people's expectation, though constant trials on applying some applications such as cell phones, car navigations and dictators, continue. Actually, customers' response is quite tough, they won't be likely to use it if it does minor mistake. But, as human does mistake, a machine also shows kinds of errors in that state-of-art of it is based on statistics.

Look at the graph given by google trends. - Actually, I don't know how it exactly shows trends, but it could be a sort of reference. In comparion to the last three years, the first quarter of 2007 doesn't seem to be good start. Many agree with the need and the convenience of it, but people in this field including me don't jump up the high barrier, which is made by people's demand. Jump over it or die together ...

Baobab Tree

Do you know this tree? Before sunnie told me the story related with this tree, I didn't know it either. A poor engineer (smile). In the novel, "little prince", you could find something about the baobab tree.
On saturday, we went on picnic to hantaek botanical garden. What a find weather, no yellow wind, It seemed that most of all people went out for enjoying it. So much crowded. It took too much time to find a little space to park a car. - Most of them were already taken by early comers.

I saw the baobab tree (so-called bottle tree) there by chance. a look of it gave me the glimmer memory when I read little prince. Did I read it ? (smile). Anyway, the bottle-shaped tree brought me to exotic mood.

At the entrance of it, there was a place when helium ballons are sold. If daniel missed it, he wouldn't be my son (smile). Sunnie reluctantly bought it for him. - Actually, she didn't like to spend money on it. She thought that it cost a lot for an instant pleasure of children. But, who can get daniel ? (smile).

Due to so many people in there, it was almost impossible not to bump with others. Oh my god, daniel's ballon was gone away. How would it be when he found himself hold only a plastic handle of a ballon ? A loud cry of daniel gave sunnie and me plenty of attention from the one who passed by as if we were kidnappers. As a result, I went back there, I bought it again for stopping daniel's cry. - too much exhausted.

Actually, it was the 2nd time visit. We visited there almost two years ago. Look at the photos in the earlier post, and compare the figure of daniel beteen two years ago and now. How time fly (smile).

Remember google voice search ?, one of google services, which was gone away with spotlighting. Recently, google relaunch free 411 service activated voice. - It's the first google lab service year 2007.
Unfortunately, it won't service in worldwide, but service in U.S only. - I tried it in korea, but it won't work. According to some other report, the performance of it is not bad. Well, the intresting point is that google announced it in time when microsoft aquired tellme network. Anyway, personally, it's going to be initiation, which triggers activity in the field of speech recognition ...

Sit-In-Strike ?

During two weeks, the weather hadn't been good. So, I could stay at home. But, this week was totally different. Usually, on weekend, the late get-up gave me loose daily start, but daniel woke me up early by insisting on going out the place where he could enjoy outdoor event. It was like an sit-in-strike (smile).

So, while thinking the place where we could go in a moment, sunnie, daniel and I were headed for samsung children's museum. Actually, we already went there before, but we had no alternative option. - Recently, I often think that there are not much places where parents brings kids on weekend.

Oh, now, daniel seemed to know how to play (smile). In comparison to time when we had visited, he was super, super active. Sunnie and I were totally exhausted to chase him. He often argued with other kids to hold what he played with. - He almost fighted with them (smile). The video clip were taken where he joined the open activity in the museum.

Cuttie Baby, Prettie Couple

On saturday, I was invited to the 1st year birthday party of my reunion. If it was held in the close distance, I would bring sunnie and daniel, but it's far distance away. - Actually, I found myself constantly nodding not holding sleep in a bus (smile).
What a cuttie boy! Babies are all cutie regardless race, gender, and religion. Sometimes, I'm used to suprise what they've done, which is purified, not in the sneaky manner. I hope that he would be healthy and grow up in the direction, which he will aim at in the future. - oh, this is my little hope. Don't be a engineer ! (smile).

There, I met an old friend, who is VERY VERY INTIMATE reunion, and used to work in the same company. - He left the company for pursuing academic interest. Sooner or later, he'll be headed for germany. Well, apparently, he seemed to change a lot after getting marriage. How can I say? he seemed to be more confident. He came with his wife. His wife seemed to be really nice. She didn't talk too much, and sometimes I tried to break the ice. She answered me with light smile. In the middle of launch, I also saw something, which made me smile. She quietly put some foods on her husband's dish. I've never saw such a well matching couple, recently. Anyway, it was quite nice conversaion. Finally, I'll keep my fingers crossed for him by hoping that he like the expression, "VERY VERY INTIMATE" (smile).

Yellow Sand Wind

Oh, it's like an weather which you could see in the sf moive describing the end of century. I couldn't see far enough due to yellow sand wind coming from the china. So, we all stayed home - couch potato, in short, watching tv and sleeping, repeated them again and again.

Usually, sunnie or I give a bath to daniel right before he gets to sleep. But, today, I do it on time when sun still hang on the sky (smile). Why? This is the only way to calm him down, who desperately want to go out. The photoes are taken right after giving him a bath ...

Found Missing Trains ...

As I already mentioned in the earlier post, daniel is really crazy about thomas and friends. Whenever he is asked what he really want to have, he answers "thomas train" without hesitation. Since he had it for the first time, sunnie and I or his grand parents have bought them for him in his birthday and anniversary. But, the problem is that he lost them so soon and so easily. Whenever sunnie and I ask him where he leave them, he answers "somebody took his trains". Don't you think that we are too stupid to ask such a question to him ? (smile)

It really made his day, several days ago, sunnie found all missing trains where nobody guessed while she cleaned house. - a flowerpot (smile). Though sunnie and I don't play with it, it's a feeling like meeting chidlren, who have missed for a long time (smile). Look! daniel lines them up, and happy.

Post-It Without Pens

Since it was invented, many have used it and agreed with its convenience. I also find the stack of them on the cornor of my desk (smile). - as I remember, similar softwares, which you can use them on your pc, are released, but I prefer analog version (smile).
Here is a clever idea product, which enrich its usability. Post-it is convenient in that you can write memos whenever and wherever you want, and put them on the place where you can easily see for reminding you of what you made. But, "it needs pens". Post-it newly invented by students is made of carbon, so just like carbon-copy paper, you can write yours with fingers, nails, and whatever. Doesn't it seem to big? (smile). Well, my account on blogspot might be blocked by posting this article, but this seems to be quite interesting to be ignored. - I made previous instance (smile). Since google has started their business with the motto of "Don't Be Evil", it's true that many people have been appealed their clean and nice image. If this article is true, it's totally against their moto. Too spooky.

Daniel Put On Beach Gown

Look! what a active movement he made (smile). Sunnie bought him a beach gown. Actually, all of us have realised its need, but daniel's preference to "thomas and friends" has kept us from purchasing it until now. Sunnie found it at the mall by chance, and snapped it witout hesitation.

Anyway, daniel didn't want to take off for a while since sunnie showed it to him. Every movement he made gave us laugh.

Little Peace

Well, sometimes, when my head is full of trivial thoughts, I want to go somewhere I could put them away. I think that this is the place where you can. - Actually, this is a temple, but anybody can visit there regardless of religions. Are you a person who think that places such as temples and churches are only for people who believe that ? Noooop, What a narrow mind you have (smile).
Sunday morning was quite nice unlike to what it was in saturday. It was too good to stay home. Daniel also pushed sunnie and me for going out. But, Where should we be headed for? We already visited most of places where family could take rest near our home. Suddenly, sunnie suggested me the place where she saw on the web. - wawoo-temple.

It was about half hour away from my home. Well, I might use words such as warm, peaceful and calm for describing the first impression of it. Nobody wouldn't hurry and they seemed to enjoy the moment when they are. Monks in that temple were also kind answering what others questioned. - As for daniel, he got scared a little after looking at their skin heads (smile).

I roughly remembered that I had been also scared to the jazzy coloured drawings in temples when I had been in childhood, but suprisingly, I wouldn't. Instead, I was quite comfortable. Did I reach to nirvana ? (smile) - At this point, I hope to emphasise that I'm not biased. That is, I'm not a buddist.

Well, I think that it's not easy to find this sort of a place where you can visit in one day. If chances come, visit there. this is one of favorite place.

One fire fighter stood closer to blaze for extinguishing fire, though it was too dangerous. This is not a still capture from the movie but, it's real, which occured near gyeong-gi province in korea. An amateur photographer took this by chance.

At the point that the world become egocentric, this photo give us something more than move. Recently, the korea government proceeds the force-out of the incompetent public service personnels, but news said most of them falls on the fire fighters. How could it be? At this moment, while we pay attention to our work, they're fighting fire on perilling their life somewhere ...

Pulling Off AdSense

As you may know, several weeks ago, I got a e-mail, which said invalid clicks are detected on my blog. Subsequently, I sent my appeal to them for explaining what had happened. Today, I got the official answer from adsense.
They said my appeal didn't be accepted. Well, I would expect it more or less (smile). Apparently, it deserves to be seen as invalid clicks. I fully understand them. Anyway, I don't have any intention to make windfall, but my curiosity just has started it up. Well, tough it's a bit sad, on the other hands, it's much comfortable.

A Successor of Google Answer

Do you remember google answer, one of services, which ceased witout spotlighting? Some of ex-google answers researchers have kicked off new q&a site named uclue. Apparently, it also adopt the reward sharing mechanism such as adsense. And, you might also see some indications, which show their efforts making uclue distinct from past google answer. Though it's on beta version, I think that it would be quite interesting to see how they proceed their new business.

Update: David at Uclue answered my question regarding the differences of their new service to the old Google Answers. From his answer:

Listing fee: GA [Google Answers] charged 50 cents to post a question. There is no listing fee at uclue.

Price range: uclue accepts questions ranging from $5 to $250, compared with GA’s $2-200 range.

Payment: Payment at uclue is in advance, and can be made via Paypal or with a credit card (as long as that feature is enabled...depends a bit on the customer’s country). GA was credit card only, and payment was processed when the answer was posted (NOTE – the ’payment in advance’ feature is the result of our current software configuration, and may be changed down the road).

Scope: uclue won’t venture into anything that is patently illegal, and we won’t write student essays or do their tests for them. Other than that, though, pretty much every topic is fair game. We’ll even answer questions about uclue itself (as this current answer demonstrates). GA had some built-in limits in this respect.

My AdSense Account Is Blocked

Today, I got a "happy e-mail" from google adsense. My adsense account is disabled due to invalid clicks. Invalid clicks? I thought it over for a while. All of sudden, vague memory hit on my head.
Actually, several weeks ago, I found by chance that adsense links on this blog wouldn't work proper. So, I clicked them several times for checking whether they worked proper or not. Oh my god, they deserve to give suspicious glance at me. Actually, I didn't mean it. I just wanted to make all the contents work proper. In addition, I'm not a person, who try to make great revenue from google adsense. - you know, my revenue is only around 20 bucks during three years. I just want to try every stuff, which google supports.

Well, though they'll take out my account forever, actually, there are nothing to say about it, because all of these are due to my falults. Anyway, I wrote the appeal form to google adsense by explaining all of the above-mentioned, and I'm not sure whether they would give back my adsense account or not. I'm just waiting for their feedback wishing little hope ...

Daniel Goes To Preschool ...

Well, how can I explain this feeling? I feel like being parents who have school kids. From this month, sunnie and I decided to send daniel to the sort of preschool.

In korea, it's called as no-ri-bang. This is a place where kids aged from four to five make friends with each other, and learn fundamental stuffs such as figure, paint, and so on. Actually, he has spent too much time with sunnie, and, sometimes, he has seemed to be uneasy when he was without her. So, sunnie and I want to help him by giving a chance to have social activity.

Today, daniel got backpack from his pre-school. He seemed to love it so much. He even had meals and went to the restroom wearing his backpack (smile). So much cute ...

Apple Might Not Launch iPhone in Korea

Well, it seems to be true that many korean have asked for the time when they would use it. But, unfortunately, apple won't launch iphone in korea due to several reasons. It might think that the market of korea is relatively small in comparison to that of U.S adn europe. Yes, it's true. But, personally, it's worthy to examine how consumers respond to it's new-born baby in korea. You know, the market of korea is quite unique. - consumers don't resist new technologies, so the pattern of consumption rapidly converges it. Anyway, at this moment, consumers in korea wouldn't be likely to use iphones ...

But that may still not be good enough for Korean users, because the iPhone is based on the GSM protocol rather than Korea’s CDMA. Our stand-by ticket no. ranged from 175 to 177. Actually, these were not bad. Someone got the one numbered over 1,000, but the one of airline staffs told me that he was not sure whether we could take airplane or not. We had already stayed at airport about five hours.

Sunnie suggested me to go back home. It was hardly to step further to the bus stop headed for home, but she seemed be right. At that moment, broadcast said that passengers, who holded stand-by tickets ranged from 1 to 200, were ready to board. Yeah! We made it, at last. Heaven helped me (smile).

Well, maybe, the one of the most difficult things that people ever thought is the killing time without knowing when they've done. So, some bring books and magazines, and others bring hand-held video games. But, sometimes, all of these are impossible when they've been with kids. - They've always been hopping here and there, furthermore, they've tested themselves in the dangerous situation without guardians' eyes.

Sunnie and I had looked around to find the right place where we can safely spend time, then we settled down to the starbucks - It sounds like akwards, starbucks is a safe place for kids ? (smile). Anyway, all seats were already taken to the other passengers, so we needed a place where we could rest and take care of daniel while we had stayed ...

We ordered cinnamon rolls and coffees, and had awaited wishing that fog was lifted. It almost passed four hours since we had been scheduled. Broadcast said that 11:00 AM flight was already cancelled. I could also hear that some argued with airline staffs for the delay. Frankly speaking, I also did as what they had did not enduring long-waiting (smile). How much do we look forward to this family event? Though early flight schedule took us sweet dream, nobody didn't beef about it. - We should get up 4:00 am to take a limousine airport bus. Daniel had usually gotton nervous when I or sunnie had woken him up, but he was differnt when I woke him in that morning. He stood up like a spring, which went back to its original shape (smile).

Finally, we rode the airport bus by keeping excitement for this family trip, then we all fell asleep (smile) ...

Dumplin' Story

A dumpling ... this is one of daniel's favorite. Oneday, he tasted of it by chance, then he has continuously asked sunnie for it. Though it could be possible in the far future, it would be good idea to run the dumpling store after retirement. Would it be crashed down due to daniel's appetite for dumplings? - he would be likely to eat them all for sale (smile). Photos below are taken from the dumpling store near my house.

Well, as far as I know, there is only one place where you can taste "REAL" chinese dumplings in seoul. - it's totally my opinion, so there would be someone who might be against my opinion (smile).

The dumpling store named "chi-chun-ru" is situated in myeongdong, seoul. Actually, I think that it's esay to find there because it's placed along with main street. For the more information, refer to the map below. - it would be somewhere red-coloured.

Kind in mind! They will only serve dumplings - I heard that someone did mistake by ordering noodles. They might be considered as ordinary chinese restaurant (smile). The first time when I visited there, I got the impression that this was like an old-fashioned chinese restaurant. Don't expect it would have beautiful interior design, which is shone by gorgeous illumination in chinese style, or you would be surely disappointed. - depending on the viewpoint, they could be seen more or less unfriendly. But, all of the prejudice will disappear when you bite and taste of dumplings. They're so much great ... If you stay in korea, I strongly recommand to visit there. Oh, it makes me hungry ...

Tip: If you can speak chinese, I think that it could be okay. I also sensed that this restaurant is managed by chinese. Of course, they seemd to speak korean, but they used chinese when they talked with each other.

It has been several decades that humans challenge what we believe god only would do. But, though many people have made every effort to give human-like abilities to machines, the state-of-art is still far from something god-made. - the way how humans listen, the way how humans say, and the way how humans understand. So, for a while, can we put away thought that machines rule over human such as the movie, the terminator (smile).

According to the recent speeh of google co-founder, larry page, google tried to build artificial intelligence, and it's going to realise in the near future, not far as people think. Well, there have been so many prospective articles on ai, but, you know, prospective is prospective, and many cases have gradually disappeared from people's memory. But, I really hope that google will make a few steps ahead in the field of ai, which is recently stagnated more or less ...

Yep, you read that right, Google is trying to build real AI. The worlds most dominant online company, with the largest conglomeration of computing power the world has ever seen, is trying to build artificial intelligence, and according to Page it isn’t that far away either. Move to The Other Office ...

As a part of renovoation, I moved to the other office. Precisely speaking, I came back to where I was - Haven't it passed about two years? What a bizzare feeling it is! - the feeling that I have been a soldier, who has stayed in the battle for a long time, and now, is headed for home ... Well, I'm still uneasy.
What it worse, my desktop seems to have problems. I found a cooler, which should be attached to core, rolling here are there in it (smile). Anyway, I already ask the repair service, but I don't know when it'll be back from its coma ...

Drum Machine & MPC

As technology has advanced, the recent digital instruments support almost real sounds such as drums, pianos and strings. - of course, some music mania still don't like this sort of artificial sounds (smile).

Furthermore, this technology also change the way of playing. Look at the video clips below, which shows how they plays the drum machine and the mpc. It looks so quite bizzare by reason that I might be already accustomed to the analog version of it. - playing drums with not sticks but fingers ? (smile)

The power of advertisement is really something beyond what you think. In seconds, it catches people's concern, and gives strong impression for what it really says. In that point, people in the field of ads seems to be so much clever.
Followings are some ads which are taken from the Ads of the world. - you can enjoy interestingly worldwide ads (smile). Look at the ad below, which is ariel, washing powder manufacturer. It seems to be outdoor ad in the highway. In the far distance, there is black ink tain on the white shirt, but when you come closer to and pass it , black ink tain is gone away. Actually, there seems to be a tree-shaped object in front of the ads, and it uses the effect of the visual difference in line with angle. How cool it is !

Google Rename GOOGE ?

Google has changed main logo design in line with celebrations, events, and a national holiday of a certain nation.
In st. valentine day, it also changed its main logo design, which featured with a chocolate-decorated strawberry. Ooops, but, in this time, it seemed to be akward. Where is "L". Does google rename its name as GOOGE (smile)?
